Kirk Perron had a passion for active living, having fun and entrepreneurship. In 1990, after a workout, he was sipping on a smoothie enjoying a moment of simple bliss when he experienced the proverbial “light bulb” moment, “How can I bring this bliss to the rest of the world?”
Kirk began the company with a blender and a big idea: to make eating better easier.
The first location of “Juice Club” opened in 1990. Consumer attraction to his vision, brand and products was immediate. In fact, over 2,600 customers walked through the doors on opening weekend! Kirk soon realized e that this concept would work in communities all across the United States and the world. After almost 30 years, Jamba remains rooted in this wholesome purpose and has grown to over 850 locations worldwide.
